For nursing and health-science programs

Students practice the full clinical and revenue cycle in the system practices use

Students chart, code, bill and follow the remittance on synthetic patients in Telemedcore — the same product independent practices run on — while faculty review the work and, with the optional Canvas integration, grades flow back to Canvas.

What you get

The whole cycle, not a charting exercise

Each student works the record from intake to paid claim.

  • Chart encounters, vitals, medications and problems
  • Code the visit and build CMS-1500 and 837P claims
  • Post the remittance and work denials

Structured the way you teach

Program, cohort and section structure with a simulation practice per section.

  • Programs, cohorts, sections and terms
  • Simulation practices linked to sections, with synthetic patients only
  • Licensed seats counted once per person across sections

Faculty stay in the loop

Faculty review submitted work and return it with feedback.

  • Review queues for submitted student work
  • Rubric-based grading
  • Optional Canvas integration with LTI launch and grade passback

Questions people ask

Do students use real patient data?

No. Education programs work in simulation practices with synthetic patients only, and the simulation terms prohibit entering real patient information.

Does Telemedcore integrate with Canvas?

Yes, as an optional add-on. Programs that enable it get LTI 1.3 launch from Canvas and grade passback to the Canvas gradebook.

Is it the same product practices use?

Yes. Students learn on the same scheduling, charting, billing and claims workflows that independent practices run, with supervision and grading added for education.

How are seats counted?

Each person with active access — student, Faculty Instructor or Institution Admin — counts as one licensed seat, however many programs, sections or roles they have.

Not the right fit if you need

  • Hospital-based inpatient simulation
  • Programs that need a live connection to a real clinical system
