Telemedcore Assistant — Privacy & Data
Updated
What the Assistant Can See
The assistant does not have access to patient records, clinical notes, or any protected health information. It can only see the question you type and the context of your current conversation.
What Is Logged
Conversations with the assistant are logged for quality improvement and compliance purposes. This is standard practice and helps us improve the accuracy of responses over time.
What You Should Not Include in Your Questions
Because conversations are logged, please do not include patient names, record numbers, or other patient-specific information in your questions.
For example:
- Ask: "How do I find a patient's insurance policy?"
- Do not ask: "Where is Jane Smith's insurance card?"
The assistant can help you find any feature or workflow without needing patient-specific details.
Data Retention
Assistant conversation data is retained according to our retention schedule, consistent with our broader data handling practices.
Your Privacy
Your questions are associated with your account and are visible only to authorized Telemedcore staff for support and quality purposes. They are not shared with other practices.
For more information about how we handle data, see FAQ: Data Security & Privacy and our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.
